About 93% of students have Facebook account even if they don’t have access to internet from home. Chances are that they are logging in from friends home or using a public place like library to access their account.
About 41% of the students check their Facebook accounts daily.
About 23% have Facebook friends but wouldn’t feel comfortable meeting or talking in person.
22% of student admits to posting unkind messages to their friends.
31% of them receive hurtful things said to them on Facebook.
22% of them indicate that they have been bullied using Facebook accounts.
46% have seen upsetting or bulling messages on Facebook.
30% of them had to delete their Facebook friend because they have been bullied.
41% of them gave out personal information to someone they met online.
18% of them pretended to be someone else on Facebook.
